2016 - Dinner Plain

Ride started Sat 5/11/16. Riders were Greg, Steve, Dennis, Grant, Paul, George, Scott & Smith. Scott joined the group at Bonnie Doon with a big nail through the rear tyre and was patched at the servo. Paul met with the group at Tatong for lunch. Travelled through Moyu, Bright (refuel, packed out with the Rod Run), through Harrietville and then onto Dinner Plain. Snow flurries experienced above the treeline through to Dinner Plain. Breeze made snow flakes blow across the road light sand in sand-dunes. Snow flurries again in the morning. Sunny dry weather for the trip through Omeo, Swifts Creek (coffee), Bruthen (fuel), Bairnsdale and backroads to Maffra for lunch. Fuel stop at Tyers, Dennis and Grant left the group for heading home via the main highway. Took a wrong turn and headed towards Erica but nice riding through the forest. Turned back and went the correct way through Noojee and then to Yarra Junction. Paul and Scott left the group to head to Healesville whilst the remaining 4 headed back home via the Warburton Hwy.

2017 - Snowy Mountains

A fabulous ride with 10 people. Scott and Doug joined Dennis in South Melbourne for trip through the Black Spur and the Jamieson Road. Peter joined us at Jamieson. Whitfield to Beachworth where Steve, Grant and Joel meet us at the Beachworth Brewery. At dinner Smithy, George and Greg joined us. Perfect weather along through Granya, Kankobhan, Thredbo and JIndabyne. A very enjoyable spurt from Beridale to and over night at Adaminaby. BIg breakfeast fuels us to go via Tumut 2, Tumbarumba and Tallangatta. A split where Scot and Doug did the MItta MItta Rd via Falls Creek to Bright, and George and Peter heading home. The rest went direct to Bright, overnight and taking the Whitfield Rd and Alexandra home.

2017 - Dinner Plain

We had a good turn out with regulars like Greg, Smith, Doyle, George, Joel and Dennis being there. We have a surprise visit from old timer rider Rafx and a new, inaugural rider Ian. As usual roads were fabulous, this years weather was steamy with multiple fronts providing cooling showers.

2016 - Snowy Mountains

A grand turnout, with thirteen riders at Adaminaby on Saturday evening, including a guest appearance from Chris Baker. Outside of the storm on Friday, it was perfect weather. Big smiles all weekend.

2015 - Dinner Plain

This years ride was with Smith, Doyle, Greg, George and Dennis. Meeting at Croydon, we went via Yarra Glen, Yea, Mansfield, Whitfield (lunch), Bright, Hotham and finally Dinner Plain (overnight). Sunday was through Omeo, Anglers Rest, Falls Creek, Mt Beauty (lunch), Happy Valley Rd cutting across to Milawa, then Whitfield, Mansfield, Yea, Yarra Glen and home.

2016 - Western NSW Adventure

This was our first attempt at an adventure ride - curtailed unfortunately due to rain-induced road closures.
Two F800GS (Chris & Greg) plus a Range Rover (David & David) with K1200R (Steve) joining us for the first leg to Griffith.
The route was Melbourne (Canberra) - Griffith, Griffith - Willandra National Park, Willandra - White Cliffs, White Cliffs - Tibooburra (+loop to Cameron Corner in the Rangie), Tibooburra - Broken Hill, BH - Swan Hill, Swan Hill - Melbourne.
